Whether you’re sketching designs, drawing up blueprints, or producing 3D models, there will be commands available to make the job easier. 1. Click on the move tool and triple-click (left mouse button) select the 3D object/ 2D sketch. 2. Choose the 'Up To' option and then click on the center of the axis handle (at grid origin) 3. The selected object will now be centered at the origin. Holding my IPad2, I would swipe my finger on the screen to rotate the object but for whatever reason this is not happening. If I hold my finger on the 3D model and move my IPad2 instead, the object rotates towards the position of the camera.
